I have to side with the residents… They’re paying property taxes AND sewage fees… they shouldn’t have to deal with crap (pun intended) backing up in their basements! Water flooding is one thing, but as someone who’s had to shovel shit in her basement to get to the laundry machines (NOT in my very nice current residence), I can sympathize and say this is entirely unacceptable…
