Museum president won't give back pay this year
Milwaukee Public Museum President Dan Finley, who is paid $196,000 annually, declined to make any more concessions. After giving up four weeks' pay in 2009 and getting no raise for the next year, Finley told county supervisors Tuesday he won't take any voluntary pay cut for 2010.
…And why should he? He’s already reduced to a pittance of a salary! Only $196,000?! How can anyone even live on so little?!

I think it is ridiculous for Disney to offer refunds just because people were stupid enough to think all they had to do was play a DVD to rear smart children! Clearly it was meant only as a stimulant, to supplement one-on-one enrichment! DUH!

First of all, I don’t understand how that woman can blame her daughter’s collapsed lung on the forced evacuation of their home near the plant…
Secondly, while I admire Popp for his service to our country, that is no reason to let him off so easily… sentenced to only 90 days of the possible 10 year sentence… especially for the monetary losses to those involved! It was a military flare that they shot off. I’m pretty sure he shouldn’t have kept it in the first place, but at the very least, someone who served in the military should know better than to shoot it off, let alone let someone else do it!
However, I do commend the judge for being creative in making him serve his sentence in 30 day increments for the next three July’s… I just think it should’ve been for much longer than three years!
