What's with the thicker necklaces being worn this postseason?

If, by this argument, wearing a necklace of titanium helps reduce fatigue and improve healing times, wouldn’t it be natural to assume that having titanium actually in your body would produce even further benefits, or at least more pronounced ones? And if so, why, with 3 titanium plates, 2 titanium wires, and 8 titanium screws in my jaw, am I constantly so tired? And why did it take so freaking long for my broken rib to heal?

India’s richest man has moved into world’s biggest private residence

“He wants to help pave the way for a better life for the country's poor.”

Really? By flaunting his wealth while hiring 600 of those “poor” to run his $1 million estate?

Goldberg, Behar walk off ‘View’ set during O’Reilly interview

I don’t care for that guy. Talk about an extremist. I’m 100% Christian, and 100% for the right of a group of Americans of a different religion to build a place of worship wherever they want… I believe we still do have the freedom of religion here, right? I do agree with Barbara, that co-hosts on a show that’s aim is to discuss world issues from different view points should accept that some people will have offensive views and it is their right to have whatever opinions they do, but I also admire Whoopie and Joy for leaving… I’m really getting sick of all this controversy over something that is so simple, according to what our founding fathers fought for…

Tony Gwynn suspects his cancer comes from chewing tobacco

I’m glad he’s making the link and speaking out against chewing now, though it never says he intends to quit… Only that he thinks players shouldn’t be allowed to, in an effort to prevent them from starting… What I find unfortunate is that the article states he resumed chewing after his first two surgeries to remove benign salivary tumors… Many would’ve seen the first tumor as a sign to quit…

Over 52? Then you're probably grumpy

This just seems like common sense to me… The only thing I find surprising is that Britons are supposedly less grumpy before turning 52… If that’s “less” grumpy, I’d hate to run into one of their senior citizens on a bad day…

Patient walked away from Mental Health Complex; attacked nearby resident

As someone who lives within walking distance of the Milwaukee County Mental Health Complex, I find this quite disturbing… Though, living in Milwaukee County, I’d have to say the woman who was attacked should’ve known better than to let someone she didn’t know come into her house, whether to use the phone or the bathroom… Especially having young children in the house…

1 Ohio school, 4 bullied teens dead by own hand

Having a best friend who committed suicide in high school, albeit not from bullying, might make me hyper-sensitive to this article, but it astounds me that people think it is okay to mercilessly belittle someone… I’m all for a little playful ribbing among friends, but how low is your self-esteem for you to berate a student with a hearing problem, or an accent? Parents who raise children who consider this acceptable behavior should consider such as the ultimate societal failure… Kudos, your indirectly took the life of someone else’s child… You should be so proud.

Rural Tennessee fire sparks conservative ideological debate

Let’s hope he at least paid his home owner’s insurance fees… I mean, chances are, you’re not going to need major disaster repairs to your home… Then again, chances are you won’t burn your home down either… That’s why you pay the fee… For the security of knowing it’s there if you do need it…
