I really don’t understand why this was ever an issue to begin with… Is there just such an overabundance of men and women willing to fight, and even die, for our freedoms, that we needed to weed them out by only allowing the straight ones? Who cares?! Anyone, gay or straight, who is willing to fight for our country is already a much better American than me, and I appreciate that!
