In general, I love children… However, I can’t stand most parents! After working in the children’s areas at Miller Park for years, and seeing over-indulged children get away with murder, I’m 100% confident that these brats could’ve been prevented by good parenting… I know it’s probably easier to not deal with the job of disciplining, but if you bring a child into this world, it’s your job to raise them to behave in society!

That they would pour salt on the wounds of his loss of his son, then expect him to pay their legal fees makes me sick… I am 95% against all sorts of violent conflicts, but I am 1000% in support of our troops who are willing to go into a conflict situation and give their lives for a resolution and, unfortunately, preserving the first amendment rights of a-holes like these to freely express themselves! I am even more appalled that this kind of behavior is actually encouraged by a church claiming to be Christian:
“‘Military funerals have become pagan orgies of idolatrous blasphemy, where they pray to the dunghill gods of Sodom and play taps to a fallen fool,’ states a press release posted on the church’s website.”
They may not have violated any constitutional laws, but they are certainly guilty of breaking every rule of decorum and common decency!

Cancelling prom for the entire school to avoid doing the right thing because it would make you uncomfortable to have a same-sex couple in attendance? Way to be ignorant hicks, Mississippi.
I’m stunned to hear they even have a policy banning same-sex couples. In the three times I went to Prom, I’m pretty sure Courtney was my “date” once, and Rebekah was my “date” twice… simply because couples tickets were cheaper. I don’t think anyone thought we were lesbians, and even if they did, or we were, it wouldn’t be any of their business! If I had children, gay or straight, who went to a school that was this discriminatory, I wouldn’t wait for the school to cancel Prom, I’d encourage them to boycott it! And I have to say, a tux would probably be much more comfortable than a poofy dress anyhow! I canNOT believe those ahole paramedics were so close on numerous occasions and didn’t even try walking to his door!!! Don’t they take an oath or something, or at least have a responsibility to do the job they chose, trained for, and are being paid for?! I hope they all get fired! My dad would NEVER have been so heartless and irresponsible! Heck, he would’ve shoveled the driveway and pushed the ambulance out of a snow bank if he had to! That’s just what people who go into medicine to HELP people do!!!

I’m sorry, Mom, but have some accountability… how stupid are you to let your kid take a toy gun, regardless of how small and obviously fake, to school?! I find it disturbing, not because of the little lego gun itstelf, but that the little kid was putting it in a dolls hand to shoot at another student’s doll during lunch… school is not the place to simulate a violent act! I’m glad your kid was verbally accosted by an adult who seems to be actually responsible!

If you haven’t seen this movie yet, GO! I’m not a football fan, and I’m not a fan of sappy movies, which I totally expected this to be… Also, I find southern accents annoying. I was not happy when my parents announced our family was going to see this over Thanksgiving break, and I thoroughly expected to be bored, but I was both intrigued and inspired! It is AMAZING!!!
